EFL Cup Final
EFL County Final Champions
On Saturday 19th January 2019 the Year 5 & 6 Football played St Josephs Primary school in the EFL Football Bedfordshire County Final. The game was played at half time during the Luton Town V Peterborough game at Kenilworth Road in front of over 10,000 people.
The Pirton Hill team followed the example of the professionals and won the game 2-1 against a very impressive St Joes team.
The team will now go on represent the County at the Regional finals on Monday 11th March in Oxford.
Well done to all the children who took part and in particular Victoria and Gabby A showing true girl power as the only 2 girls on the pitch. Congratulations to Mr Swaile who has worked hard over the past few years to build this squad of players.
