As we start another week at Pirton it is always worth looking back and celebrating success from last week.
On Wednesday the Yr 3& Yr 5 & 6 Indoor Athletics Teams competed at the Town finals against the best 7 schools in Luton. On Thursday the Yr 5 7 6 Football team competed at the EFL county final football competition .
Every week the teams attend training give 100% and show determination and the desire to improve and challenge themselves. At the same time developing a team ethos.
We are proud to announce that the all teams gave performances above and beyond:
Yr 3 & 4 Athletics team finished 2nd overall (missing out by only 2 points)
Yr 5 & 6 Athletics team finished 1st overall (by over 100 points)
Both teams will compete at the County finals on Friday 25th 2019
The football team played 6- won 6!! They will now compete against St Josephs Primary School (2 Luton schools) on Saturday during half time at the Luton Town game.
Good luck to all the children participating in the finals and whatever the results were are so proud of you all and the way that you conduct yourself in training and at competitions. Also a huge thankyou to every child who continues to attend training every week and gives everything they have.
