Parent Carer Support Groups

  • EPIC Luton Parent Carer Forum Empowering Parents, Influencing Change in Luton (EPIC Luton) is the official Department for Education (DfE) funded Parent Carer Forum (PCF) for Luton Borough. As a group of parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 who have additional needs and/or special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we have formed a committee to re-establish a PCF in this area to give SEND families a collective voice.

  • About Luton SENDIAS Service The Luton SENDIAS service provides information and support to parents / carers of children with SEN or disabilities and children and young people with SEN or disabilities.
  • Expert advice and support for children with speech and language difficulties in Luton and Bedfordshire The Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service works across the whole county of Bedfordshire and Luton providing help in both community i.e. health centres, schools, pre-schools and hospital settings. They treat children up to the age of 16 years (up to 19 years in special education), who have a difficulty with communication or swallowing. The Service is provided in a number of ways, depending on need. This may be for example: individual or group treatment, parent/carer workshops and drop in clinics.
