The Pastoral Team is currently made up of:
The team spend time in classes, supporting the children and joining in with their learning, as well as being available at playtime and lunchtimes for children if they want a chat.
The Pastoral Team have access to "Discovery" - a classroom set up to support nurture (personal, social and emotional well-being) activities - which may include Therapeutic Story Writing, Developing Self Esteem and 1:1 talk time sessions.
The Pastoral Worker also has an office space, for confidential conversations with parents / carers.
As parents, we all have questions about parenting at times. The Place2Be have produced some useful resources on a huge range of subjects from "Our Mealtimes are turning into a battleground" to "My Child says I hate you!" to "The Importance of Boundaries and Consequences" to "My Child has Friendship Issues". There are over 40 subject titles so I'm sure you will find something of interest. Some of the resources are videos and others are a short read.
