Crisis Aid Wrap Up Luton Visit

Sports Champion Visit. Today has been a huge success and that is down to the support and donations from parents and the wider community. All children in Reception – Year 6 enjoyed an Assembly with Olympian Basketball player, Pierre Henry-Fontaine, and enjoyed exercise activities. Please keep an eye on Facebook and our website for photographs. Our school and Sports for Champions are overwhelmed by the generous support you have made via contributions. Thank you to each and every one of you! So far we have raised over £3000! (More donations are expected tomorrow). This is an amazing achievement; one we are all very proud of. The funds raised go to this important charity and some will be used for equipment in school for the children to use. Once we have final figures these will be shared with parents, children and staff. Due to the support and donations received this morning, some items /prizes will follow, once numbers and figures are finalised. Tomorrow · Each child will receive a sticker for taking part · Children who raised between £5-£14.99 will receive their A6 postcard · Children who raised between £15-£34.99 will receive their A4 autographed poster Next week (hopefully) (this will be as soon as the signed booklets and photos arrive in school): Children who raised £35 or more, (we had 45 children so WELL DONE!) will receive their keepsake wallet with their personal photo of the athlete. Individual class winners will be announced in Assembly on Friday. Many thanks again for your continued support. Mrs Ellis
