The Pirton Hill School Council involves each class from Year One to Year Six. At the beginning of the year we begin our campaigns. We have to show our class why we would be a good candidate. The successful councillor then attends meetings and starts the exciting and important role.
The School Council this year has looked at whole-school issues, like the reward system in place in the school. We were asked by our Headteacher what the pupils thought. We then fed back the pupils voice. As a School Council we also raise concerns from our classes, one of which was the tidiness of the cloak rooms. So we now do spot checks around the school and award the best class.
