We are looking forward to our Harvest Festival next Thursday; this is going to be our first whole school event with parents / carers since Christmas 2019!
Harvest Donations
From next Monday (4th October), class teachers will start accepting food donations for their traditional class "harvest basket". These donations (dried or tinned foods, please) form the focal point of our Harvest Performance and will be donated to the Luton Foodbank afterwards.
We are always amazed by the generosity of Pirton Hill parents / carers at harvest time - giving something to others who need it. You are amazing and thank you, in advance!
Donations need to be handed in by Thursday 7th October, so that they can be included in your child's class "basket" and our whole school display.
Harvest Performances
All year groups (except Nursery) are busy practicing their song(s) for the performances and we can't wait to welcome you back into school.
All children (except Nursery) will perform their songs twice:
9.15am - for parents / carers of children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (Doors open at 9.00am, please enter via the main office)
2.30pm - for parents / carers of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (Doors open at 2.15pm, please enter via the main office)
We expect the performances to last around 40 minutes and do ask that you remain until the end so that all children get to perform to an audience!
