COUNTY SUCCESS
After dominating the Zone and Town finals the Year 3/4 and 5/6 Indoor Athletics Teams competed at the Bedfordshire COUNTY finals on Friday 27th January 2017 at Cranfield University. Pirton Hill Primary were one of the only schools at the competition to have both teams reach the finals and all the children were determined to do their best.
During the competition the children had to compete in a range of disciplines from sprinting, long distance running, throwing and jumping. Every single Pirton Hill child gave everything they had and showed such skill and determination to achieve.
We are very proud to announce that the children finished in the following positions:
- Year 3/4 Team were crowned champions of Bedfordshire
- Year 5/6 Team finished in 2nd place missing out by 6points.
Well done to all the children who participated at the event and all the staff who gave up their time to support the children.
