Pirton Athletics Success
Final post of the year. A huge well done to all the children who represented the school at the Town Finals in July.
In particular congratulations to:
-Christian who was crowned Year 6 600m champion
-Kelise who was crowned Year 6 shot putt champion
-David who was crowned Year 3 400m champion and is the new Luton schools record holder.
The children showed the usual Pirton Hill grit, determination and skill and I am delighted to announce that Pirton Hill were once again crowned
- overall Girls champions
- overall Boys champions
Finally crowned Luton Schools Athletics champions for 2019.
Well done to all that participated and a fantastic way to round off an amazing year. The children were Indoor Athletics County champions in Year 5 & 6and Year 3&4 (the Year 1&2 were also Luton champions).
Thank you to all the children who worked hard in training and challenged themselves every week to improve their skills.
