  • Vegfest Fun

    Wed 12 Oct 2016
Today, the Vegfest Competition was held at Stockwood Park Discovery Centre. Five children represented Pirton Hill and Gardening Club in true Pirton Hill Style. They were well behaved, polite and joined in all the activities with a smile. We came back to school with two awards; Winner of Best Main Crop Potato and Highly Commended for Best White Gem Parsnip. The two certificates and trophy, as well as lots of photographs of the Vegfest Competition and Gardening Club, will be on display in school for you to see at the forthcoming Parents Consultation. Well done to everyone involved for a great achievement and another Pirton Hill success. Have a look at our website for more photos:

Well done to all the children who participated in the Year 5 & 6 Luton Schools Hockey competition today.
The school took 3 teams to the competition and I am delighted to announce that all 3 teams finished in the top 10 positions with Team B being knocked out in the Quarter Finals and Team A going on to be crowned Champions of Luton and will now compete in the County Finals in March 2017.

Well done to the Year 5 & 6 Netball Team who won their first netball league game 3-2 against a very good Ferrars team. Player of the Game Shiane.

After a great start to the season sadly the Year 5&6 football team had their first defeat losing 4-1 to a fanastic Sacred Heart football team. Well done to both teams and we look forward to seeing how you get on in the next fixture.
