We are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 6th March 2020.
The children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite book character - and even better of they can bring the book too! (No film superheroes, please!).
The children in Year 3 - Year 6 are encouraged to come as their favourite Roald Dahl character (see posters in school, or attached illustrations, for ideas).
We will also be welcoming the famous authors / illustrators - Knife and Packer - to join our World Book Day celebrations! Knife and Packer have written some amazing books - including the Badly Drawn Beth series and the Fleabag MonkeyFace series (now also a CITV series!)
All children (Reception upwards) will have the opportunity to hear from Knife and Packer - seeing the writing / illustrating process in action.
Please note: If your child does not want to dress up, then please send them in normal school uniform!
